Programs

  1. Weight Loss Program: The “Lose to Win” program offers support for sustainable weight loss through a free, 12-week course that includes personalized plans, team support, and one-on-one coaching.

  2. Active Older Adults (Level 3): Aimed at beginners and intermediates, this class provides a low-impact workout to improve cardio health, flexibility, and balance while minimizing joint stress.

  3. POP Pilates: A dynamic, mat-based workout that combines core-strengthening and full-body exercises set to popular music. The class has options for all fitness levels.

  4. Cycle Core: A 55-minute class combining 45 minutes of indoor cycling with 10 minutes of core exercises. Suitable for all fitness levels with adjustable intensity.

  5. Sitter-cize (Level 1): A seated exercise class focusing on enhancing flexibility, joint stability, and muscular strength. Ideal for those needing low-impact exercises.

  6. Silver & Fit Experience (Level 2): A fitness class for older adults that helps improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular health. Suitable for beginners with an option for chair support.

  7. Yoga Fit: A yoga class that incorporates breath, balance, and strength building. Adaptable for all skill levels, it aims to strengthen the body while calming the mind.

  8. Gentle Yoga: Based on Hatha Yoga principles, this class focuses on breath, relaxation, flexibility, and alignment. Open to all skill levels and provides personal modifications.

  9. GET STRONG: A weight training class designed to develop strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. Suitable for building confidence with weights and establishing a routine.

  10. BARRE: A full-body workout combining ballet, yoga, and Pilates techniques. Emphasizes low-impact, high-intensity movements to strengthen and enhance agility.

  11. TaeKwonDo: Available to participants ages 5 and up, focusing on martial arts training. Class details are provided in the current program brochure.

  12. Zumba: High-energy dance-based workouts with interval training for toning and sculpting the body. Suitable for all skill levels.

Activities

  1. Adult Basketball: Offers open gym for pickup games on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

  2. Open Gym: Flexible access to gym space for activities during operating hours.

  3. Racquetball: Five courts are available for use, with reservations allowed up to 96 hours in advance for members. Equipment is provided free of charge, and tournaments are held occasionally.

  4. Wallyball: Courts can be reserved up to 96 hours in advance. Equipment is provided, and participants must be at least 16 years old to check out the gear.

  5. Pickleball: Combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is a fun game for all levels. Members can play for free, while non-members pay a day-use fee.

Weight Room

Make an appointment with weight room staff for an orientation.

Nautilus:  You will be shown Nautilus equipment & how to utilize the machines properly & effectively while addressing the major muscle groups.  Knowledgeable weight room staff will help you fill out a workout card to help you continue.

Cardio:  you will be educated on how to use each of the cardiovascular machines;  also how often, how long and at what intensity you should engage in cardiovascular activity.

Free Weight:  You will be shown a variety of free weight exercises addressing major muscle groups, as well as learning about reps & sets.  Must be 15 years or older

Youth 9-14 may go through the Cardio and Nautilus Orientations but must be accompanied by a parent or an adult when working out.

Weight Room
Features
: Includes Nautilus machines, free weights, cardio equipment, and a stretching area. Orientations are available for members, and there are specific age restrictions:

    • Ages 9-12: Limited to Nautilus and cardio areas, only with parental supervision.
    • Ages 13-14: Access to Nautilus and cardio areas without supervision, no free weights.
    • Ages 15 and up: Full access to all equipment, including free weights and kettlebells.

Personal Training

Train one-on-one for 45 minutes or 30 minutes each session with a certified personal trainer who will design a program tailored to you and your goals.

Your YMCA trainer will develop this personal program based on:

  • Your current fitness level
  • Your personal goals and objectives
  • Your personal limitations

Your YMCA trainer can design a workout which consists of:

  • Strength training
  • Cardiovascular/Cardio respiratory training
  • Both strength and cardio training

Sessions must be paid at the front desk prior to meeting with a trainer.

All cancellations should be made with your trainer 24 hours prior to scheduled appointments.  Any sessions not cancelled prior to appointment will be forfeited.
