Update: Now Open Limited Hours
January 6, 2021
Dear Y Family,
Due to changes announced by the Governor on January 5, 2021, we will be taking reservations for the weight room, which will partially re-open on January 11, 2021 in Phase 1. The restrictions are very limiting. Reservations are required, and we will take reservations on the hour, but members can only use the area for 45 minutes, so there is time to clean between reservations. This is per the Governor’s orders.
The capacity is one person for every 500 square feet, so the numbers are also very limited. You will be expected to wear a mask at all times in all areas. While working out, you can lower your mask, but you must pull it back up to cover nose and mouth every time you move around or change machines. You must also use disinfectant and towels provided to clean everything you touch. Failure to wear a mask or clean equipment will result in the loss of reservation privileges.
The current hours available for the weight room are 5am to 6pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8am to 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. The hours on Saturday are 9am to 1pm.
The upstairs locker rooms are not available, and showers in the downstairs locker room are for swimmers only. Bathroom are available outside of the weight room doors and in the downstairs locker rooms.
We will be able to continue to take reservations for pool use and have added family swim reservations on Saturdays. As members come back and we get busy, we will extend our hours. Watch our Welcome Back video for more information.
We are eagerly waiting to fully reopen, so everyone wear the masks and practice social distancing so things get better! Thank you to all of our members who stayed with us.
The following documents detail what you should expect when we re-open
We are making every effort to keep you and our staff safe when we re-open. Please be patient and have empathy knowing that we are trying to accommodate you in the best way possible as quickly as is practical and safe.
