Programs

  1. Sit or Stand (Level 1): A seated exercise class focusing on enhancing flexibility, joint stability, and muscular strength. Ideal for those needing low-impact exercises.

  2. Silver & Fit Experience (Level 2): A fitness class for older adults that helps improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular health. Suitable for beginners with an option for chair support.

  3. Active Older Adults (Level 3): Aimed at beginners and intermediates, this class provides a low-impact workout to improve cardio health, flexibility, and balance while minimizing joint stress.

  4. Cycle Together: A 55-minute class combining cycling and upper body strength. Suitable for all fitness levels with adjustable intensity.

  5. Yoga Fit: A yoga class that incorporates breath, balance, and strength building. Adaptable for all skill levels, it aims to strengthen the body while calming the mind.

  6. BARRE: A full-body workout combining ballet, yoga, and Pilates techniques. Emphasizes low-impact, high-intensity movements to strengthen and enhance agility.

  7. TaeKwonDo: Available to participants ages 5 and up, focusing on martial arts training. Class details are provided in the current program brochure.

  8. Zumba: High-energy dance-based workouts with interval training for toning and sculpting the body. Suitable for all skill levels.

Activities

  1. Adult Basketball: Offers open gym for pickup games on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

  2. Open Gym: Flexible access to gym space for activities during operating hours.

  3. Racquetball: One court is available for use for racquetball and wallyball. Equipment is provided free of charge and participants must be at least 16 years old to check out the gear.

  4. Wallyball: Court can be reserved up to 96 hours in advance. Equipment is provided, and participants must be at least 16 years old to check out the gear.

  5. Pickleball: Combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is a fun game for all levels. Members can play for free, while non-members pay a day-use fee.

Fitness Center

Our fitness center includes Nautilus strength machines, free weights, cardio equipment, kettlebells, and a stretching area. Whether you are new to fitness or experienced in the weight room, YMCA staff can help you feel more comfortable and confident using the equipment.

Weight Room Age Guidelines
  • Ages 9-12 – Youth may use Nautilus and cardio equipment only with parent or adult supervision.
  • Ages 13-14 – Youth may use Nautilus and cardio equipment without supervision. Free weights are not permitted.
  • Ages 15 and up – Participants may use all weight room equipment, including free weights and kettlebells.
Fitness Center Orientations

Fitness Center Orientations are personalized in partnership with each member to better understand their individual needs, comfort level, and fitness goals. Whether you are new to the Y, returning to exercise, learning new equipment, or looking for support in building a routine, our staff can help you feel more comfortable, confident, and safe in the Fitness Center.

During an orientation, staff may help with:

  • Understanding your fitness goals
  • Learning how to safely use cardio and strength equipment
  • Adjusting equipment to fit your body and comfort level
  • Building confidence in the Fitness Center
  • Creating a starting point for your wellness routine
  • Connecting you with personal training or other YMCA programs when additional support would be helpful

Personal Training

Work one-on-one with a certified personal trainer who can help you create a fitness plan based on your goals, current fitness level, and individual needs.

Personal training can support:

  • Strength training
  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Weight loss or wellness goals
  • Confidence in the weight room
  • Safe exercise habits
  • A balanced workout plan

Training sessions are available in 30-minute and 60-minute options. Please see the current brochure or contact the front desk for pricing, trainer availability, and package details.

Personal training sessions must be paid for at the front desk before meeting with a trainer. Cancellations should be made directly with your trainer at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Sessions not cancelled in advance may be forfeited.
