The YMCA Tumbleweeds preschool provides children with activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally and physically.  The YMCA staff recognizes that as parents, you are the first and most important teacher of your children.  They encourage and welcome your involvement as a volunteer and will work as partners with you to help your child progress.  We encourage you to help out in the classroom, but it is not a requirement.

Children will be exposed to art projects, play with blocks, table toys, science activities, pre-reading and writing skills, swimming, gym activities, dance, and music, stories, dramatic play and field trips.

Starting in January 2015

Zoo-phonics Curriculum and LEEP (thru Longview School District) Have been Added to the Preschool.
